Our philosophy is simple:
Our mission is to create connections in the most Practical way we know how, through sharing our stories, experiences, and through conversation that’s Real and authentic. We feel deeply connected to the Plants and to the many other Herb Lovers who share our desire to be the Healthiest we can be and to create the Healthiest Planet we can. The Practical Herbalist and Real Herbalism Radio is our offering to them and to you in service to making those connections tangible and strong for all of us.
We believe the healthiest way to live is often the closest to nature, the simplest, the most practical. Herbalism and many of the homesteading techniques we use and teach have been around for an awful long time for a good reason. They’re practical. They’re simple, and most importantly, they’re healthy. After having been asked many times over about what we do, we decided it was high time we took our passion to the web. Thus was born The Practical Herbalist.com. After a few years of writing and engaging with our audience, we realized the conversation was so much bigger than could be contained in some words on a page or screen. After some thought on the matter, Patrick proposed we try podcasting. We were first intimidated by the idea, but then we decided to jump right in. Thus was born Real Herbalism Radio.
