There are some herbal certification programs here in the states and plenty of absolutely wonderful schools many of us attend but the path we each find into the field varies as wildly as the plants themselves. today, we’re talking with registered herbalist, yoga instructor and owner of Sky House Yoga, Ashley Litecky Elenbaas, about blending science, energy, world travel and study into a clinical herbal career. For Ashley Litecky Elenbaas, her journey through the world of herbalism has been a literal journey. She is frequent traveler and has gone out of her way to educate herself about the natural treasures the botanical world has to offer. She combines art, dance, yoga, star gazing and other creative modalities to the healing power of herbal medicine for her students and clients. For her, health doesn’t end in a tincture bottle.
