As a competitive coffee roaster, Okon has placed second in Pacific Northwest regional roasting competition and sixth place in national competition here in the U.S. He has also spent time in Colombia working small coffee farms and building relationships with specialty coffee producers there and other countries such as Brazil, Viet Nam, Guatemala, and the Congo (DRC).

Candace Hunter is a self-taught herbalist and artist who never, ever practices on guinea pigs in part because her family and friends are generally up to the job.
