Calm and Focused Essential Oil Blend

rosemary, ginger, and peppermint essential oils

Rosemary, spearmint, and ginger have helped me in a variety of stressful situations. This blend of essential oils is one of my secret weapons in any competition or test. The rosemary helps keep my mind clear and active even when my surroundings threaten to overwhelm me. Ginger helps me keep my feet on the ground so I stay connected with whatever I’m doing. Spearmint energizes without exhausting, giving me the get-up-and-go I need to perform while shrugging off stress. Together, this team has helped me through belt testing for taekwondo, college mid-terms and finals, even surviving stressful trade shows where I’ve spent my entire day on my feet selling, answering questions, and generally interacting with the public.

I like to use Calm and Focused Essential Oil Blend as a massage oil to rub on my pressure points before taekwondo tests. Added to a spray, it’s terrific for a pick-me-up at competitions or trade shows. I use an aromatherapy burner or vaporizer with a few drops of Calm and Essential Oil Blend for late night study sessions and days when I’m finding it hard to focus.

I usually save my used essential oil bottles, especially the ones that contained essential oils I’ve used often, for use in making blends. I clean them using isopropyl alcohol, one of the few relatively safe solvents that reliably removes essential oil residue. If you don’t have a used essential oil bottle, you can use a standard dropper bottle. Be aware that the rubber and plastic parts on the dropper bottle can eventually degrade from direct contact with pure essential oils. If you use a standard dropper bottle, keep an eye on those parts.
