Garden planning is fun to do but must be followed up on. Podcast hosts Candace, Patrick and Sue have already started putting some of those plans in action. After all, as Rudyard Kipling famously said, “Gardens are not made by singing ‘Oh, how beautiful,’ and sitting in the shade.”

Inspired by books by Kathi Keville and Peg Schafer as well as a Aaron and Susan Von Frank of Tyrant Farms, our team is already taking measurements for a new pond, marking seed catalogs and graphing out where new beds and structure plants will go. For dedicated herbalists, the world of plant companionship never really goes dormant.
