This tincture blend is one of my favorites for an easy, simple spring detox or for helping ease the burdens a lot of stress put on my body or for a good, gentle fall cleanse. Burdock, dandelion, cleavers, and red clover offer power detoxifying help while nettle gives my system a strong boost of vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients

1 part dandelion tincture
1 part burdock root tincture
1 part nettle tincture
1 part red clover tincture
1 part cleavers tincture

Equipment

  • measuring cups
  • a spatula
  • a funnel
  • a label
  • a large dark bottle with lid

I like to fill a small 1 ounce bottle with a dropper, also labelled, as a usage bottle then refill it with the larger bottle that I reserve for bulk storage.

Procedure

  1. Gather the ingredients along with the equipment in a clean, well lit, work space.
  2. Pour the individual ingredients, one at a time, into a clear measuring cup.
  3. Mix the ingredients carefully.
  4. Using a funnel, pour the mixture into a darkly-colored glass bottle and cap it securely.
  5. Label the bottle with the name of the tincture blend and add the date.

Storage and use

Take one to two droppers of your tincture blend thrice daily until the bottle’s gone.
